What has actually shipped

Real dates, written for the person who has to run the shop rather than the person who wrote the code. Fixes appear here as prominently as features — how a vendor talks about its own defects is worth more than its feature list.

Last updated Aug 20 2026. Months with nothing to report are absent rather than padded.

August 2026

  1. ImprovedAced

The website was rebuilt around how courses actually buy

Pricing is now prepared per facility rather than published as a rate card, the site leads with golf rather than splitting the audience, and the security page publishes what Aced does not have alongside what it does. The Terms were updated to match: your signed order form is the source of truth for every commercial term.

  2. NewTournaments

Flights, tie-breaks, entry fees and a start sheet

Events can be flighted with their own standings, ties resolve by countback on the last card played, and entry fees are charged through the pro-shop register as a tournament entry rather than tracked beside it. Members-only events draw the eligible field from your member list with their handicaps.

  3. FixedTournaments

Holding tee times for an event never worked

Reserving the tee sheet for a tournament field failed on the first group every time and always had. It now books the field against real slots and reports anything it had to skip.

  4. FixedTournaments

Net scoring produced the wrong numbers

Net, Stableford and net Stableford now score correctly on the same event, and the leaderboard shows player names rather than a column of blanks.

  5. NewTournaments

Distance help can be switched off per event

Some competitions do not permit it, so per-hole distance help is now a setting on the tournament or the individual round. A committee decision applies to the whole field rather than to whoever remembers.

  6. NewTee sheet

Member groups hold standing tee times

The Tuesday foursome keeps its slot with the players' names on it, regenerating on its own schedule instead of being rebuilt by hand every week.

  7. NewMarketing

Compose emails with blocks instead of code

Campaigns are built from content blocks rather than pasted HTML, and audiences are built from real register data with a live count as you add conditions.

  8. ImprovedReports

Card processing fees enter the books

Processing costs post to the ledger with the sale they belong to, so margin and the deposit both reconcile without a manual adjustment at month end.

  9. ImprovedInvoices

Pay an invoice at the register, and know which one

Settling a house account or an outing invoice at the counter now names the invoice being paid rather than applying a payment to a balance and leaving you to work it out.

July 2026

  1. NewSupport

The system behind “a human answers”

Support requests raised from inside the product carry the screen you were on, are triaged with a visible wait clock, and email a person rather than entering a queue nobody watches.

  2. ImprovedReliability

Backups are verified by restoring them

The backup drill now restores every schema and fails loudly if anything is missing, instead of checking that a dump file is non-empty. A backup nobody has restored is a hope, not a backup.

  3. NewRegister

Booking links, drawer breakdown and keyed cards on file

Send a golfer a direct booking link, see a drawer session broken down by tender, and add a card on file by keying it when the golfer is not standing at the counter.

  4. NewRegister

Split registers, PIN security and inventory counts

Run more than one register in a clubhouse with separate drawers, require a PIN for every staff member, count stock against recorded movement, and take paper checks as a tender.

  5. NewStaff

Import the published schedule into timesheets

Scheduled shifts pre-fill the timesheet, so the clock corrects the plan rather than the plan being retyped.

  6. NewStaff

Payroll export with overtime already split

A per-employee summary and a day-by-day detail file, with the federal over-40-per-week rule applied for you and register tips included. A Gusto-formatted file imports directly; the universal CSV covers everyone else.

  7. NewWebsites

    Instant course preview

Type a course name and a working website renders on the spot, using the same engine that publishes real course sites. No signup, no email address, nothing saved.

This page covers user-facing changes only. Schema migrations, internal tooling and refactors are not listed — they are real work, but a general manager cannot act on them. Entries before July 2026 predate the point at which Aced began publishing this record.

See where it is going

The most useful conversation about a roadmap is the one where you say which of these you would have wanted first.
