Set up your business

Aced runs golf courses and small businesses from one system. Setup takes a few minutes and nothing you choose is permanent — every setting can be changed later.

Create your account

1. Go to /setup and create your owner login (email + password), accepting the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Verify your email — the link signs you in automatically and returns you to setup.
3. Pick your business type — each card shows a real screenshot of what your first day looks like. A golf course turns on the tee sheet, weather, events and leagues; a service business turns on appointments; a shop starts with just the register. Modules can be switched on or off any time in Settings, and every business gets the website builder — it's included.
4. Name the business, set your timezone (this drives the tee sheet, reports, and quiet hours), and optionally set a PIN for the shared-terminal lock screen.

Your 30-day trial

Every new business starts with a full-featured 30-day trial — no card required. After that it's a flat monthly subscription managed in Settings → Billing. If the trial lapses, your data is safe and read-only until you subscribe; nothing is deleted.

The Setup guide

After setup, look for the Setup guide in the bottom corner of the back office. It's a short checklist tailored to your business type — your logo, your first product, your team, your first sale, your website — and every item checks itself off as you work; there's nothing to mark done. Tap an item to jump straight to the right screen. It disappears on its own once the list is complete, or dismiss it any time.

First-day checklist

• Add your team in Settings → Team and give each person a role.
• Golf courses: generate the tee sheet in Settings → Tee Sheet (interval + operating hours), and set your green fees under pricing rules.
• Add your sales tax under Settings → Taxes before ringing real sales.
• Connect card payments when you're ready — see Taking card payments. Cash works out of the box.
• Coming from another system? Bring your data with you — customers, inventory, and gift cards import in minutes.

Golf courses: we set you up

Golf course accounts are opened with us, not self-serve — card readers have to be ordered and configured, and your old system's data deserves a proper move. Book a walkthrough and we handle setup with you; the wizard asks for the setup code we give you during onboarding.
