Member groups & standing tee times

The Tuesday foursome, held for a season, with their names already on the sheet.

A member group is the handful of golfers who always play together. Build it once under Players → Members, then hold their tee time for weeks at a stretch.

Build the group

Players → Members → New group. Search for each golfer, or type a name and press Enter for the regular who's never given you an email — they don't need an account to be in a group. Set what they usually play (18 or 9, riding or walking) so holding times is one click later.

Hold their times

Press Hold tee times, pick the days, the exact tee time, and a date range. Every matching day gets a real booking with all their names on it.

The time must match a slot exactly — 9:00 finds the 9:00 tee time, not the 9:04.

Days that can't be held are skipped and listed, never silently dropped: no tee time at that hour, the slot is blocked, not enough room, or the group already has it. Reserving twelve Tuesdays gets you the ten that were free plus a plain account of the two that weren't.

Why this beats blocking the time

Blocking holds a slot empty. A member group creates a real booking, which means:

  • The starter sees who is playing, not just that the time is taken.
  • Every golfer is priced at their own profile — a member on the member rate, their guests at the guest rate — without anyone setting that each week.
  • The counter can send the group to the register like any other booking.

Releasing

Release hands back every upcoming time the group is holding, in one go. Rounds they've already played are never touched. Deleting a group leaves its bookings in place — release first if you want the slots back.
